Pollination Management Course

APIS has designed courses to teach existing crop advisors the fundamentals of agricultural pollination management. These courses introduce advisors to pollination first principles, best practices, practical monitoring tools, applied pollination strategies, bee-better pesticide guidance, and established and emerging technologies. Together, these tools will help advisors support their clients through the critical pollination period.

The Course

Seven one-hour self-directed online modules covering the full pollination management arc: biology, crop requirements, written recommendations, pesticide decisions, in-season troubleshooting, and field data contribution. Each module includes a knowledge check. Advisors who complete the course and submit one pollination plan via the APIS app earn the APIS Certified Advisor designation.

Built on Published Research

All module content is grounded in peer-reviewed literature and documented field practice. Advisory relationships with faculty at universities and land-grant institutions, industry experts, beekeepers, and growers across multiple production systems support curriculum development and content review.
